The tamping machine comprises a frame 2 mounted on running trolleys 1, on which vibration sealing working bodies 3 are mounted on both sides of its longitudinal axis, a device 4 for lifting and straightening the track, a device 5 for dynamic stabilization of the track, and also a tool 6 for leveling and compaction ballast. The tool b is mounted on the frame 2 pivotally and mounted to move vertically from the hydraulic cylinder 7. Around the axis 8, the tool b is rotated by the drive 9, and around the · axis 10 by the hydraulic cylinder 11, as a result of which the ballast under the sleepers is moved to the adjacent sleeper box . The sealing working bodies 3 work from the vibrodrive 21 and are moved in the vertical plane by the drive 22. The sealing working bodies 23 are installed from the ends of the sleepers. The tool 6 (see Fig. 12) is moved along the guide 24 along the path, and across the path using the guide rollers 25 and hydraulic cylinders. The machine works as follows.

The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of ballast compaction. The tool 6 (see Fig. 12) moves along the guide 24 along ways, and across the Way - when installed in rails 25 and hydraulic cylinders. In the vertical plane, the tool 6 moves with water 26, and is moved apart by the drive 2. The machine operates as follows. In the straightening zone of the railway track and the compaction of its ballast, the working bodies 3 and the tool 6 for leveling and compacting the beshast are immersed in the ballast, displacing it into areas in which the degree of compaction is insignificant. From the middle zone of the sleepers, the ballast is displaced by tool 6 into the zones of intersection of rails and sleepers. The working bodies 3 bashlast is compacted, and not only in the zone of intersection of rails and sleepers, but also under the middle part of the sleepers.
